Teri Desrosiers CMT, ABT
I grew up with dogs... Throughout my life, I have owned
a Chihuahua, Sheltie, Doberman, Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweilers to
Belgian Malinois.
In 1991, I began training in competition obedience with a variety of
professional trainers. Then in 1994, I started competing in confirmation
and obedience events. For the past 15 years, I worked full time and all
of my spare time was spent training, going to educational seminars and
events or just "being" with my dogs.
In 2003, I decided to make a career change from the technical industry
to devoting all my time working with animals. While I was going to
Bancroft School for Small Animal Massage, I worked at a local boarding
kennel. I did my internships at Healing Paws Rehabilitation working
closely with Dr. Corey DVM, Canine Mastery's flyball team, Elkhound
Rescue League as well as various fundraising events for shelter animals.
My most recent charity event was Course for Kids, an annual agility
fundraiser for kids with cancer. Also, with the help of my training
friends and their canines, I successfully completed my requirements to
receive my Certification from Bancroft's Small Animal Massage Program.
